TREATMENT
AND
RESEARCH
SSETR
ISTANBUL,
TURKEY
There
is a
new
society
for
sexuality
in
Istanbul,
Turkey
since
1998.
Society
for
Sexual
Education,
Treatment
and
Research
(SSETR),
as a
new
society,
has
now
167
members
of
sexual
health
professionals.
The
members
of
the
society
are
medical
doctors,
psychologists,
social
workers,
nurses,
teachers,
etc.
The
purposes
of
SSETR
are:
• As
a
basic
and
fundamental
human
right,
to
promote
sexual
health
in
Turkey;
• To
gather
all
sexual
health
professionals
under
an
organisation;
• To
advance
national
and
international
cooperation
in
the
field
of
sexology;
• To
coordinate
the
activities
in
the
field
of
sexology;
• To
coordinate
and
support
the
researches
in
the
field
of
sexology;
• To
implement
postgraduate
training
courses
in
the
field
of
sex
education,
sexual
health
and
diagnosis
and
treatment.
SSETR
organised
the
following
national
congress
and
symposiums:

of
SSETR;
Current
Treatments
in
Sexual
Dysfunctions
and
New
Developments
in
Cognitive-Behavioral
Therapies,
Istanbul.

of
SSTR;
Sexual

Treatments;

SSETR
has
been
organising
post-graduate
courses
on
sexuality,
sexual
dysfunctions
and
sexual
therapies
for
medical
doctors,
psychologists
and
other
health
professionals,
since
2001.
Post-graduate
courses
are
consist

and
supervision
on
sexual
dysfunctions
and
sexual
therapies.
